Hong Luu
General Partner
Hong has nearly 10 years experience in financial banking and business development in which 4 years of working experience in US.
Hong has worked on variety of M&A and greenfield projects both in the US and Vietnam in multi-sector such as IT, industrial construction materials, pharmaceutical, logistics, automobile, entertainment & media, fintech, real estate and so on.
Before WERO, Hong has worked in Business Development and Planning, at CJ Group, seeking new business investment opportunities for M&A and greenfield projects in Vietnam, deal advisory in KPMG and BIDV Securities JSC as an investment banker.
Hong holds Master degree of Financial Analysis from University of San Francisco.
Huy Mac
Partner
Mr. Huy Mac is a finance specialist with 22 years of working experience, including five years with a top-notch global investment bank (2005-2010) and nine years with KPMG Vietnam/ UK (1996-2005). He has excellent business crafting experience, successfully turning a small Vietnamese securities company into a Top Tier firm after five years (2012-2018). Prior to that, he comanaged one of the Top 5 Vietnamese securities companies, successfully leading it through the turbulent market conditions after two years (2010-2012). Additionally, Mr. Huy is author to the best financial seller “Cẩm nang Ngân hàng Đầu tư”.
Mr. Huy holds a MBA degree from Herriot Watt University (UK) and a fellow member of ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants). He was President of Vietnam Member Committee for ACCA (2016-2018).
Viet-Anh Nguyen
Associate
Viet Anh is in charged of analysis & execution of M&A projects at WERO.
Before joining WERO, Viet Anh has worked in Valuation Department at CBRE Asia Pacific, Investment Banking Department at Viet Capital Securities JSC, Research Department at Thumos and Audit Department at Deloitte.
Viet Anh graduated from Aalto University, School of Business (Finland) in September 2017 with BS in Economics, minor in Finance.
